Last week, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo issued Executive Order 202.60, which which continued the temporary suspension and modification of laws as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. We covered previous executive orders continuing the suspension and modification of laws here.
As part of Executive Order 202.60, all statutes of limitations and other statutory deadlines for filing and service are further suspended through October 4, 2020. The executive order also extended through October 4 the ability to notarize and execute documents remotely, which my colleague Adam Osterweil covered here.
