Earlier this week Governor Andrew Cuomo issued Executive Order 202.39, which continued the existing suspensions and modifications of law made by previous executive orders until July 7, 2020.  Under this executive order, all statutes of limitations and other statutory deadlines for filing and service are further suspended until July 7, 2020.

In addition to tolling statutes of limitations and other deadlines, virtual notarization and witnessing of written instruments and suspension of in-person shareholder meetings for New York corporations have also been extended to July 7 by a previous executive order.
